Discover Waupun, Inc. wants everyone to be able to explore Waupun online. We are working to make this website accessible and easy to use for people of all abilities.

Our goal

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites.

What we have done

• Photos include text descriptions for people using screen readers.
• Interactive features, like the itinerary routes, seasons, compass and passports, use real buttons that work with a keyboard.
• If you turn on “reduce motion” in your device settings, we turn off or calm down animations such as the crawling spider, falling snow and spinning badges.
• We use clear headings and strong color contrast to make pages easier to read.

Known limitations

Some content comes from other services, such as event ticketing, maps and business websites, and we cannot control how accessible those are. A few decorative animations and illustrated elements are still being reviewed. We are continuing to improve.
